Arette Fuerte 101, 70cl 50.5%

General features.
  • 100% agave tequilana weber azul.
  • Made by Orendain family, one of the most important in tequila business.
  • A true testament of a valley tequila.
  • Aged for 14 months.
  • American white oak.
  • Smaller heart of the distillation.
  • Fermented in concrete containers.

For the whole suave range, Arette has opted to double the aging of the classic range. Together with the longer fermentation and the smaller 'heart', this gives the tequila a extraordinary taste.

Colour, aromas and taste.

Pale amber brown. Citrus scented, dried grass and hints of dried exotic fruits, including almonds and walnuts and vanilla. A long finish with clear manifest of black pepper. A very elegant and complex Añejo that definitely should appeal to those who love the softer and more elegant malt.

Serve and combine.

Best enjoyed in Riedel tequila glass in about 18 - 20°C. We recommend to try it with a nutty and strong chili charcuterie products, also with grilled meat and spicy cheese.

Manufacturing and aging.

The agave used in the production of this tequila is exclusively cultivated in fields of the outskirts of the Tequila town (most other tequilas available on the European market are either made of agave from several towns within Jalisco, especially around Los Altos). This agave has a relatively high fibre content and low water content, which often adds aromas of citrus and herbs. The agave is cooked in a pressure cooker, which enhance aromas from the raw agave. It has been aged for eighteen months in barrels previously used for aging bourbon and whiskey.
