“Quite amazing on-the rocks.”
Golden. Hints of sweet aromas such as vanilla and cedar wood. Opens with a light touch of fruit, medium body with pepper, dried fruit, vanilla and spices. Finishes with chocolate, a spicy, salty snap and a breath of heat.
It is suitable not only as a digestif or aperitif, but is also an excellent base for cocktails. The best enjoyed cool (about 16° C) in a Riedel tequila glass. Another fun option is a serving Herencia de Plata with an ice cube, which strongly emphasizes the sweet flavors of chocolate. And believe it or not, but it fits very well with blue mold cheese.
Tequilas del Señor grow their agave in Los Altos and supplements with agave from the lowlands. Their distillery on the outskirts of the beautiful Tlaquepaque in Guadalajara. Tequila from Tequilas del Señor has not fruitiness of which is usually found in the highlands tequila, but definitely the sweetness that is so characteristic.
