“A Natural Mayan Coconut Rum Liqueur”
A clear coconut rum liqueur that will make you forget the commercial brands.
This coconut liquor is made in the old mayan style of Yucatan. The knowhow and history is so amazing that you will instantly forget about commercial brands.
In the nose, the liqueur hits you with a rich coconut smell, with dark chocolate, caramel and fresh citrus. On the palate, the indulgent syrupy texture is rounded with the same flavours the nose has found and it is followed by hints of lemon and lime and a balance of sweet and tart. It finishes of rich and dry, with a distinguished coconut flavor that keeps returning, alternated with lemon and caramel.
Casa D’Aristi uses Yellow Dwarf Coconuts that are harvested at a traditional 19th century colonial plantation in Yucatan. The shredded coconut is wrapped and pressed for milk. This juice is then fermented and macerated in Mexican pure sugar cane rum.
