“A Pleasant Lingering Spicy but very Herbal Finish”
The herbal spiciness brought by the Poblano pepper macerated in mexican sugarcane spirit.
With the Verde, they wanted to add more a more herbal flavour, opening up to a whole new range of spicy cocktails. So instead of drying the poblano pepper, they use it fresh from the field.
A dark green color with medium body and high viscosity. It has a clear aroma of herbs, wet wood, leather and freshly cracked chili. The flavor is fiery and explosive with a light smokiness, followed by sweetness and herbs and a high spice factor in the end. A pleasantly lingering spicy finish where herbal flavors are never far away.
Enjoyed in cocktails because of that spicy, herbal finish but also neat.
It is entirely handcrafted. The process begins by selecting the best quality ingredients. The purest and high in alcohol volume sugarcane spirit produced in Veracruz as basis, and the best quality ancho chilies from San Martin Texmelucan, in Puebla, as main ingredient. These peppers are hand cut with scissors and then macerated for six months in the cane spirit. It then gets balanced to get the perfect mixture.
