Dark amber color into reddish. Herby, floral, with clear hints of butterscotch. Starts fairly peppery and quite sweet honey. The tequila gives a strong sensation of a well-balanced bourbon gifted with a nice smokiness. A perfect alternative for those who like slightly smoky malt. 

cocktail It is best enjoyed as a digestive / Avec served slightly below room temperature in a Riedel tequila glass. Special for Los Tres Toño is their more or less pronounced smokiness (depending on storage time) produced by a special method.

Tequila Tres Toños the brand
Los Tres Toños is the Reynosos family's Crown Jewel brand. Founded by Don Dionisio, father to Roberto and Fernando. The Brand was meant to represent the families legacy, as fourth generation agave farmers, focusing on the raw material and processing it in the traditional way that gives the smoky flavour. Los Tres Toños will allways be a true agavero Tequila, not fancy, just honest.
Production details
The agave used in production is grown in the plains outside Amatitán just east of the town of Tequila, which often provides both citrus and herbs. The family's cows and horses graze on the agave fields which is one of the reasons herbicides and pesticides are not used.
